Catherine Back graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor?s degree in accounting in May 1991. She joined the Cincinnati, Ohio office of the international accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick in December 1991. While at KPMG she worked extensively in the areas of individual and business tax planning and compliance. She transferred into KPMG?s National State and Local Tax practice in 1994. Returning to Florida in 1996 she joined Harris Corporation?s corporate headquarters as the Supervisor of State and Local Taxes. In this position she was responsible for supervising not only the state and local tax compliance, but also worked extensively managing the state and local tax audits.
