Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all." - Aristotle At Hot Springs Community School (HSCS), a Heartbridge Learning Center, we understand that it's tough to be a kid today. Our children face rigorous academic challenges in an age of technological advances. It's enough to boggle the mind. At HSCS, we do education a little differently, allowing our students to learn in his or her own unique way as well as accentuate individual passions through our Learn on Your Own or Lo-Yo curriculum. Our students learn from each other in multi-age classrooms, building a culture of acceptance to develop healthy mindsets needed for growth, resilience and achievement. At HSCS, we work together with HeartBridge (a social-emotional learning program), to offer our students a vibrant learning experience that allows them to build the foundation they need to create a better future for themselves, their communities and the world.
